INCLUSION
II: STRATEGIES
Learn
and use strategies which allow children of differing abilities
and needs to fully participate in
your early childhood program. Strengthen your understanding
of inclusion and young children with disabilities. Enhance
your ability to implement quality early childhood practices
and individualize for each child!
The
Child Care plus+ course on inclusion strategies is designed
for child
care providers and other early childhood
professionals who want to complete learning activities without
leaving their own homes and/or early childhood programs.
Two delivery options are available: choose from either self-study
(mail-based) or online (computer-based). Independent activities
and follow-up learning assignments require approximately
3-4 hours per week for one semester. Hours and credits may
be applied to merit pay awards, CDA renewal, and teacher recertification.
